The harvest is plentiful!

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9;36-38)

The worse think for a human being is to grow up in a town and city where there is no living church or any other Christian work. Life goes by, without thinking about God or eternity. Unimportant things become important, and there are very few opportunity to wake up from the sleep the devil has put them into.

 Light in the darkness

The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. Matthew 4;16

It’s almost strange to think about that The Netherlands earlier was a great blessing when it comes to Christianity in the past. It was here a Norwegian King was healed and received the Gospel over 1000 years ago. Many missionaries have travelled from The Netherlands to many countries all over the world, and most of us has heard about Bother Andreas and Corrie Ten Boom. So some might think – why do evangelising and church planting here? Isn't it a Christian country that do well on its own?
