Euromissions leaders and founders

Margritt and Tormod Bakkevold have three children: Jørgen, Silje and Aril. Tormod has been travelling since they got married preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. They travelled then as now in a motor home.
In the beginning they travelled only in Norway, but after a trip to Poland in 1990 God spoke to them about sharing the Gospel with people on the continent as well. At the tome they were working in 'Youth With a Mission' (YWAM), and in 1992 they started up 'Euroteam'. They took young people on outreaches in holydays and on fulltime. Over 500 Norwegian young people were joining these outreaches from 1992 until 1998. They went to Denmark, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Bella Russia, Romania, Northern Ireland, Albania, Israel, Finland and Norway.
In 1998 Margritt and Tormod started 'Euromission'. This new organisation was founded in prayer. Months of prayer and time with the Lord made it grow to be a whole new way of working.
Euromission are now travelling to the outreached cities and towns of Europe. Meeting campaigns and church planting are their main issues. The team is well united and consists of very skilled people, Christians that are devoted to bringing the Gospel to the outreached people of Europe. Most of us have jobs and school at home in-between the meeting campaigns. We wish to run this with more workers on fulltime so we can reach more people.
